U8 Format (this week only - Friday 1 May 2026):
We hope you enjoy playing on our home pitch for the first night of the season.
U8s will play 2 x 20-minute matches at Olympic Park due to the field layout.
In the following weeks at Crum Park, this will return to 3 x 15-minute games.
Please see the draw below for game times. In between matches, head upstairs — for a drink or bite while the kids relax with ping pong, foosball, or watch the other games.
Kick-offs: 5.45pm / 6.10pm / 6.35pm / 7pm
Rules
- Retreating line is halfway
- No Offsides
- No Penalties
- Size 3 Ball
- Kick ins rather than Throw in’s
- Encourage Fair Play (No Cards)
- Rolling Subs
- No Requirement to Report/Record Results
Referee / Player Helper – Coaches allowed on field – More to provide guidance.
Setup/Pack up: Teams to assist with setup & pack up of field + goals.
