GOAL & FIELD SETUP FOR SATURDAYS

If your team is the first game on, field and goal setup is required.

Crum Park 1 & 3 - Kickoff 9am - Juniors
Until our fields have the lines marked by council, we need to setup cones to mark out the field and retreating line. See the map under Field Setup, that shows the dimensions. Please ensure your team arrives early, to get the field ready. Goals will need to be carried to your field, and have the back base bar inserted. There is a video on this page showing how to do this.

Crum Park 2 - Kickoff 9am - Juniors
Goals will have to be moved into position and have the back base bar inserted. There is a video on this page showing how to do this.

Crum Park - Youth / Senior
Crum 1 & 3 Goals require nets to be put up. Crum 2, the nets are permanently attached to the goal. Nets are located outside the gear rooms.

Rathlin Street
Move goals into place, mark field depending on age group as per Field Setup.

Terry Street
As Terry Street doesn't have sheds, please collect nets from the Club prior to Saturday. Email hq@bayolympic.co.nz during the week to arrange this.

If your team is the final game on for your age group, please follow the instructions to pack up the field.

Crum Park 1, 2 & 3 Juniors
Remove the goal base bar and fold in the sides of the goal as per the video on this page. The goal base bars are stored in the Crum Park gear room. Please put the base bar into the correct bin (2 sizes). Move goals to fence and pick up cones.

Crum 1 & 3 Goals. Remove nets and move any cones or corner poles to the gear room. Crum 2 field's nets are to remain on the goals, then lock up each goal facing towards fence with the chains provided.

Rathlin Street
Juniors - Move goals to the fence (roadside end) for team lockup.

Youth & Seniors - Nets are to remain on the goals, lock up each goal facing the fence with chains provided.

Terry Street
Drop nets back off to Olympic Park. If we have a home game, this can be done on Saturday or otherwise during the week.

CRUM PARK - GOAL INSTRUCTIONS

The goals are stored folded up and padlocked to the fence.

Crum 1 - goals are on the concrete pad next to Tennis Courts

Crum 2 - goals are padlocked to side of fence

Crum 3 - goals are padlocked to side of fence

Due to the number of goals and how they are stacked for storage, the back base pole must be inserted into the goal before kick-off.

The video on this page shows how to do this. Teams on pack-up are responsible for removing the base pole and returning it to the Crum Park shed. Two bins are provided for the different goal sizes—please ensure the pole is placed in the correct one.

To fit the pole into the shed, it will need to be separated in the middle. Hold one side steady and twist the other to pull it apart.

RATHLIN STREET - GOAL INSTRUCTIONS
Goals padlocked to fence (road side).

These goals have the back base pole already attached. These goals are stored as a complete set. Please carry onto field. The packup team needs to move the goals to the fence to be padlocked.
