Liam Mulrooney

Liam Mulrooney has decided to step down as our Men’s Premier Team Head Coach. The Club is very appreciative of his contribution over the past 4 years including 3 years as Assistant Coach and of course this past season as Head Coach. Liam is well regarded by his coaching team, players and supporters of the Club. We are in discussions regarding his involvement in our youth programme in 2023 to better fit in with his work commitments.

We are now advertising for a new Head Coach for the Men’s Premier Team for 2023, for which a pre-requisite is OFC/NZF B license qualification.

Next season will be an exciting one for our Club. Work to install floodlights and ground renovation at Olympic Park has commenced, and the upgrade of the Clubrooms (including changing rooms) will begin shortly. We are also completing plans to get consent for a gym added at the northern end (in the open space under the Clubroom lounge) We see this as another step to provide the best environment we can for the development of players and coaches at Bay Olympic.
