Bay Olympic Appoints Rudy Mozr as Men’s Premier Coach for 2023

Rudy Mozr has been appointed as Bay Olympic Men’s Premier Team Head Coach, competing in the Northern Regional Football League. Mozr replaces Liam Mulrooney who has stepped down from the role.

Bay Olympic Chair, Graham Leaming says the Club is delighted to appoint Mozr.

“Rudy has built a very strong record as a coach at this level, successfully building sides with a mix of proven and developing players. His technical skillset, detailed planning, intensity and ambition make him an excellent fit for Bay Olympic. We are focused on building a team and culture that is committed, ambitious and proud to represent our Club. A successful Men’s Premier Team that provides opportunities for players who demand it, is very important for our Club moving into the future. We look forward to supporting Rudy and the team’s success.”

Mozr said he was excited to join Bay Olympic.

“Bay Olympic has a great platform - I admire the Club’s values and ambition and the facilities to work from are excellent. The Club for a long time has been a strong performer in the youth space, so we have a good source of keen and ambitious young players to press for opportunities alongside established performers. I am keen to meet the players to share my ambition and plan for the years ahead. The Club support base has always impressed me and I have enjoyed coming to Bay Olympic as an opposition coach. I am excited to be part of this environment from 2023”.

Leaming said Mozr and the Club will now focus on the appointment of Assistant Coaches and the Under 23 Development Coach to ensure readiness for a successful 2023 season.
